There is a tremendous lack of leaders worth following in our culture. There is a huge leadership void in government, business, non-profits and the church throughout the whole world. Leadership is essential and without leaders worth following we will live in division, uncertainty, unrest and lack effectiveness in everything that matters. One of the reasons for the great void in leadership is the lack of philosophical and theological reflection in our leaders. So many lead from personality, opinion or habit alone. Other leaders fail to even consider ethical and long-term implications of their leadership.
